This temple is actually quite orthodox in its nature.....
Sun, January 23, 2011 - 7:06 PMIt is normal activity since birth of Tibetan Buddhism to swallow up myths of other tribes and then import them intact for teaching dharma.
It is very much a great help for integration of Tirthikas and their loyalty, and telling everyone that they are an emanation of such and such helps too.
